The return of the fist

What begins as a classic rambling route out to the Amishlands of Intercourse, then leads up north through Reading and into Easton. We will then head back down to the city. What are we getting ourselves into? In the end we hope it will just be a Flèche wound.

A group of New York City randonneurs reunites on the Staten Island Ferry for a 24-hour ride to Philadelphia. Together, the friends embark on a circuitous journey through New Jersey’s Pine Barrens rife with bizarre escapades and unexpected adventures.

Our route traverses pastural valleys and epic climbs before reaching the piedmont plateau. We triumphantly enter the City of Brotherly Love via the Schuylkill River Trail. Designed to take advantage of the prevailing northwesterly winds, team NYGTF expects to find rainbows and unicorns along the way.

A homogeneous group celebrating diversity and history of our City and the principle that riding for 24h is a sensible thing to do in these confusing times.
