A Super Randonnée 600
Experience the rugged beauty of the Appalachian ridges. This isn’t just a ride; it’s a test of endurance and self-reliance. The Appalachian Gapfest takes you through the charming backcountry of PA and NJ, conquering a relentless series of climbs.
Your journey begins in Coopersburg, diving into the scenic local roads southeast of the Oley Valley. After crossing the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT), you’ll climb for a perimeter ride around French Creek State Park before pushing northwest toward the Texter Mountain Preserve.
After a vital refuel in Newmanstown or Stroudsburg, you will face the heart of the "Gapfest": a zigzagging traverse northeast across the Appalachian ridges. Your northern peak is High Point State Park, NJ, the highest point in the state.
Get a glimpse of the terrain, the climbs, and the scenery waiting for you on the course.
