Ride Description
The course starts out towards Riegelsville for a kinder and gentler warm-up.   We'll then continue north along the Delaware River to Water Gap, where the hot dog and apple pie special at the Village Farmer and Bakery can't be beat.

We then continue our journey south west along quiet backroads that generally follow a ridge-line with spectacular views of two mountains -- on your left is Blue Mountain and on your right, you'll see Second Mountain.

After passing through Pine Grove, the Swatara Gap takes us to the western extreme of the route at Jonestown where we head back to Quakertown via Old Rt 22.

There are several steep, extended climbs.  A triple or 39x27 is highly recommended.
