4:00AM Sign-in, Breakfast and Bike Inspection opens
4:50AM Rider meeting
5:00AM Riders depart (~13:30 hr. time limit)
Daylight hours: 5:33 AM - 8:26 PM
- Breakfast available 1 hr before the start
- Sign-in, pay fee to organizer, and collect brevet card.
- Get bike inspected
- Rider meeting, 10 minutes before scheduled start time
Showers available at the hostel -- bring your own towel. Join us for pizza and share your epic stories, tall tales, and goals for the coming year. Relax in the hostel's comfortable great room or porch. A dormatory in the hostel is available to rest before traveling home.
The course is an out and back segment through French Creek state park and into the Amish country near Lancaster, corresponding
somewhat to the second day route of the PA600K.
There are several steep, extended climbs. A triple or 39x27 is highly recommended.
